Greetings all!
I know it has been looooooooooooooooooooog since my last post so here I am again! Can you believe it? 2010 will be a history tomorrow!
Just a glimpse into what has been going on for the last few months.
I have been spending approximately 4 months over-the-sea. Why? I guess it’s because the gov hated me so much to be on this side of the country so they decided to import me to the other side. I don’t know much about Sarawak, after all, I have only been there once and that was only in Kuching! Thanks to Geography and History, my knowledge on this Land of Hornbill expanded. I know of places called Miri and Sibu, of course, the Brooke’s family!(okay, only the 3 listed in textbook). To cut the long story short, if everything goes according to plan, I will be spending the next 4 years doing Computer Science majoring in Software Engineering in UNIMAS. =o)
I’m really glad mom and sis went over with me. Thank you mi and che for the time, money and strength spent going around the city of Kuching literally direction-less, just to get all the things that I will be needing during my stay there. The weight of all the bags…*phew*
A big, loving thank you to my family for that that they have done and given to me <3 You guys are the best! and to friends, the messages and words of encouragement certainly cheered me up during my homesick days.lol, yes, you heard me right, homesick…
Upon arrival,
KIA = Kuching International Airport
The hotel
The view from hotel room
up-close…oh-so-greeeeeen
One of the many cat statues around the city
Another statue at the other end of the road.
Man-hole cover..need I say more?
The first non-statue I spotted!
Seriously, at first glance, I thought Hau has something to do with this!
I guess this is a local-based newspaper. Most, if not all the news reported are local whereabouts.
The first week, also the orientation week was tiring. Getting up early in the morning and sleeping late at night was enough to drain me out. The campus is so huge that walking from one place to another is enough to burn off a significant amount of calories. The shoe that I bought for orientation served me well and was laid to rest in the garbage bin at the end of the week.
pallas shoe is of better quality.
One of the many activities during orientation week.
Majlis Ikrar Pelajar.
The liaison officers.
Looks good, tastes better. (maybe I was really hungry at that time)
Seniors who came back from sem break…Hopefully, I don’t need to do that when I get back!

Big and heavy.

None other than Kolej Allamanda!

My very tidy bed! That’s because dad asked me to snap some photos to show him!
You wouldn’t want the up close.
So there you have it! Place where I stay and study. Still getting used to it.
Eventually, everyone needs to leave their comfort zone right? but there will never be another place like home!
I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
New Campus
Always the sight of uncles playing rich man’s sport. Just why didn’t their sons tag along?
Some words found along the pathway. I did try making up the sentence but by the time I reached the other end, I totally forgot what the first few words are.
Now, the clinic
